It is an established fact that children who participate in arts activities over an extended period of time show more sophisticated social skills such as sharing and cooperation, they become gentler and calmer and enhances<\/strong> the spirit of ethos and empathy<\/strong> in them.<\/span><\/p>\n

Talking about empathy and ethos, the third Wednesday of October recognizes Global Dignity Day. The initiative educates & inspires youth to help them better understand their self-worth. The day also taps into the values of kindness, understanding, tolerance, and compassion.<\/strong> We define dignity as the state or quality of being worthy of honor and respect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Art and craft activities opens the heart and mind to possibilities and fuels the imagination. It provides kids a sense of achievement and allow them to take pride in their work which builds confidence<\/strong>. Making art is a great, safe way to discover that it’s okay to make mistakes and that getting things ‘wrong’ can lead you to a whole new idea. It makes them more observant and they could observe the goods and not goods around them, give them the confidence and courage to change the society and makes it a better place, a place where everyone is equal, honored, respected and dignified<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

To engage children’s senses in open-ended play and supports the development of cognitive, social-emotional<\/strong> and multisensory skills, Beaconhouse E-11 Campus celebrated the Global Dignity Day with colours and life. It helped the children to understand that no matter which colour you are, you are beautiful<\/strong>, you are loved<\/strong> and equally respected.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Art knows no limits or boundary just as the dignity knows no nationality, caste or differences<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
