On 7th February, our Drama Festival took place , a day to showcase our confidence and all the hard work we had put into our rehearsals. I arrived at 10:00 sharp because our performance was scheduled first on stage after the Early Years. My group and I went backstage and got ourselves ready. Our performance, Noor-e-Azal<\/em>, was a Sufi-based act, and we felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement.<\/p>\n

One of my friends was anxious, worried that if any of us made a mistake, we might ruin the entire performance. We comforted her and reminded each other that we would shine on stage by giving our very best. Before going up, we practiced briefly, just as we had done in class. We tried to recall the steps our teacher had recently changed, though we couldn\u2019t remember every detail perfectly.<\/p>\n

After the announcer called our performance, we quietly took our positions behind the curtains. Finally, the curtains opened, and the bright stage lights shone into our eyes. As I glanced at the audience, I saw my parents recording the performance. My nervousness grew, but so did my determination to shine.<\/p>\n

The music began, and our music teacher played the introduction while Ma\u2019am Mahvish sang along beautifully. Her majestic voice filled the auditorium, creating a serene and blessed atmosphere. A few steps into the performance, I accidentally tripped over my dress. However, I quickly acted as if it were part of the choreography and continued confidently.<\/p>\n

In the middle of the performance, some of us momentarily forgot the chorus and felt slightly confused, but we supported one another and carried on. Our classmates and friends cheered enthusiastically from the back, motivating us throughout. By the end, the auditorium was filled with loud cheers and applause.<\/p>\n

When the curtains closed, we came forward to receive our certificates and take a group photo. Backstage, we returned our hats and jumped with joy, hugging each other in celebration. As we returned to our seats, our friends welcomed us with big high-fives.<\/p>\n

The greatest credit goes to our teachers, who taught us that confidence is not about outshining others , it is about teamwork. Together, we proved that when we support one another, the performance becomes better than ever.<\/p>\n
