The PBL journey on trophic dynamics involved a range of activities that enabled students to understand how energy flows through ecosystems. The journey began with a KWL chart where students identified what they knew, what they wanted to learn, and what they had learned about the topic.

The entry event involved exploring how humans obtain energy from food, which helped students understand the basics of trophic dynamics. The students then engaged with an ecopreneur who shared her knowledge and experience on food chains and ecosystems.
As part of the project on energy through simple machines, the students learned about the transfer of energy in various forms and how simple machines work. They then applied this knowledge to create models of simple machines and explained how they transfer energy.
The students also conducted research on food chains and wrote animal reports that allowed them to understand the role of different organisms in the ecosystem. They created flyers and petitions to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a stable food chain and the consequences of disrupting the trophic dynamics.
Overall, the PBL journey on trophic dynamics helped the students develop a deep understanding of the topic, critical thinking skills, and a sense of responsibility towards the environment. They learned how energy flows through ecosystems and how they can contribute to conserving energy and promoting sustainability.
