My name is Alizey, and I am a student of Grade 4 at Beaconhouse School, E-11 Campus, Islamabad. I would like to share my special experience of anchoring at our school Drama Festival.
It was my first time anchoring on such a big stage. I was very excited and also a little nervous. I was chosen to host the program with Ma’am Fatima and another student from Grade 5. I felt very happy and honored to receive this opportunity.
When I went on stage and held the microphone, my heart was beating very fast. However, as soon as I started speaking, I began to feel more confident. I welcomed the audience and introduced the different drama performances. It was truly a wonderful experience for me.
Ma’am Fatima helped and guided me a lot during our practice sessions. I learned how to speak clearly, stand confidently, and not be afraid of the audience.
This drama festival is a memory I will always cherish because it was my first time anchoring. I felt proud of myself and happy that I was able to do it successfully.
