“In every student lies a leader, waiting to be discovered, developed, and celebrated.”
These words perfectly captured the spirit of the Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 at Beaconhouse Early Years and Primary Campus, E-11, an event that stood as a proud testament to student leadership, teamwork, and the Leader in Me philosophy that defines our school community.
The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt welcome by Fatima Ishaq, who, along with her co-hosts Ajwa Junaid Burki, Fateh Nouman, Maya Babar, and Zoha Haseeb, guided the audience through the day’s proceedings. The event began on a spiritual note with a melodious Tilawat by M. Ahmad, followed by translations from M. Affan Moiz and M. Afif. The soulful Naat “Tajdar-e-Haram,” performed by the talented Naat Choir, filled the hall with serenity and reverence.
The moment everyone had eagerly awaited arrived with the flag march, as newly appointed student leaders stepped forward with pride and dignity. Leading the formation were Head Boy Arbab Muhammad Azlan with the National Flag and Head Girl Laiha Arsalan with the Beaconhouse Flag. They were joined by the Deputy Head Boy, Muntajib Rehman, and Deputy Head Girl, Maryam Tariq, followed by House Captains and Vice Captains from all four houses — Exquisite Eagles, Legendary Leopards, Dashing Dolphins, and Majestic Markhors — symbolizing teamwork, discipline, and unity.
Distinguished guests, including Ms. Nighat Javed (Cluster Convener), Ms. Arooj Kanwal Shoaib (Manager Academic Operations, Regional Office), Ms. Asiya Khanum (Leader in Me Coach, FranklinCovey), and Ms. Rifat Iqbal (Head, Boys Branch Karakoram Campus), graced the occasion and presented sashes and badges to the young leaders. Their presence added inspiration and pride to the event.
The ceremony further honored the newly appointed Ambassadors and Envoys for 2025–26 — students who pledged to uphold school values and lead their peers with integrity. Among them were:
Eco Ambassador Affan Moiz and Envoys Mustafa Aziz and Minahil Bukhari,
Tech Ambassador Abdul Raffay,
Dignity Ambassador Ayaan Asif,
and Student Protection & Safeguarding Ambassador Anayah Iqbal with Envoys Mohib Mirza and Anayah Ahsan.
The atmosphere brimmed with pride as Ms. Rifat Iqbal and Ms. Samar Azhar, our respected Head of School, bestowed the badges of honor upon these promising leaders.
The highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of the Lighthouse Team 2025–26 , students embodying The Leader in Me principles through vision, culture, and action. Lighthouse Ambassador Shayan Ali Anjum, along with the Academic, Culture, and Leadership Leads and their Action Teams, stood as symbols of unity and purpose. The sashes and badges were presented by Ms. Asiya Khanum from FranklinCovey, marking a moment of immense pride.
Inspiring speeches by the Head Boy and Head Girl captured the emotions of the day , gratitude, responsibility, and hope for the year ahead. Their words reflected the essence of Habit 8: Find Your Voice, motivating their peers to lead with confidence and empathy.
As the event drew to a close, students sang the uplifting Leader in Me song, a reminder that leadership begins within. The ceremony concluded with a presentation of a plant to the chief guest , a symbol of growth, life, and new beginnings , followed by heartfelt gratitude to all guests, parents, and teachers who made the day memorable.
The Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 was more than just a formal event; it was a celebration of trust, empowerment, and the nurturing of tomorrow’s leaders. With sashes worn proudly and promises made sincerely, our young Beaconites are ready to embark on their leadership journey , guiding their peers with integrity, passion, and the true Beaconhouse spirit.
