“Dignity is not a privilege; it is a right for every individual.”
On Global Dignity Day, our students engaged in a variety of creative activities that emphasized the importance of respect, kindness, and unity, all celebrated in their online classes due to school closures.
In the Early Years, students traced and colored their hands, along with the hands of their family members, in a fun and interactive activity that not only helped them learn about the uniqueness of each individual but also developed a sense of belonging and love within their families.
As they decorated their handprints with bright colors, they discussed how everyone is different yet special in their own way. Additionally, they engaged in a card-making activity, crafting beautiful cards with messages of kindness and appreciation. This combination of activities reinforced their understanding of dignity through artistic expression and highlighted the importance of expressing love and respect for others.
We are proud of our little ones for spreading positivity and recognizing that dignity begins at home!
In the Lower Primary, students utilized digital whiteboards to create vibrant posters that expressed their understanding of dignity. Each student illustrated their ideas through drawings and words, showcasing themes of respect, kindness, and the inherent value of every individual. This engaging activity promoted collaboration as students shared their thoughts and worked together to enhance each other’s artwork. They reflected on the significance of dignity in their lives, discussing how simple acts of kindness can make a big difference in their communities
