The first day of school at Beaconhouse E-11 was filled with excitement, and a spirit of renewal as students stepped into the new academic session 2025–2026. The day began with bright smiles as children entered the school premises, warmly welcomed at the gate by our respected school head, Ms Samar Azhar, and the school coordinator, Ms Sahar Gul. Their warm greetings created an atmosphere of belonging, making every student feel valued and appreciated from the very start.

After the cheerful welcome, students eagerly made their way to their classrooms, where they happily reunited with teachers and friends. For new students, it was a heartwarming opportunity to be embraced into the Beaconhouse community. Classrooms buzzed with excitement as teachers introduced plans for the year ahead, sparking curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.

As the day came to an end, a memorable moment awaited the students. Each child was presented with a sapling plant, a thoughtful gift from Ma’am Samar. This green gesture carried a profound message, it symbolized love, growth, and responsibility towards nature and the environment. The initiative aligns with the Beaconhouse intent of Sustainability and Environmental Leadership, reinforcing the school’s vision of nourishing not only lifelong learners but also responsible global citizens.

This act was more than just a gift; it was a promise of commitment towards building a greener, healthier future. By planting and caring for their saplings, students will be reminded daily of the values of responsibility, stewardship, and the importance of protecting our planet. As the plants grow, so too will our students’ sense of environmental awareness and leadership.

Continuing from last year’s practices, this initiative reflects Beaconhouse’s dedication to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and character development. It is a reminder to all of us that even the smallest actions—like planting a sapling, can make a big difference for the generations to come.

“The greatest legacy we can leave our children is not money or material things, but a world where they can breathe fresh air, walk on green grass, and live in harmony with nature.”

With this green start, the academic year 2025–2026 promises not only learning and growth but also a stronger commitment to shaping compassionate and environmentally conscious individuals.
