Kashmir is not just a place but an emotion that every person wants to experience. The surreal beauty of this gorgeous paradise has been defined by several poets, authors and philosophers.
The beauty of the Kashmir Valley is beyond description.  However, our geographical neighbours’ unnecessary claims of possession of the region and their unjust interventions created lots of problems for our Kashmiri brethren.

There is a strange emotional attachment and an unexplainable affinity between Kashmiris and Pakistanis. Kashmir has always captured the imagination of the Pakistani people and stirred their emotions. This is partly because of shared religion and a sentimental attachment.

Every year, to show solidarity and unity with our Kashmiri brothers and sisters, BeaconHouse celebrates 5th February with all the heart and sentiments.

In accordance with the practice, BKI E-11 enthusiastically participated in the competition arranged and hosted by the Army Public School, Defence Complex Islamabad at the special occasion of celebrating Diamond Jubilee of Pakistan and to show our complete support and solidarity with our Kashmir brotherhood.

Students of Grade 2-4 participated in a theme based tableau to highlight the agony of Kashmir, subjugation of their basic rights and the torture with which every single family with the desire to have freedom is going through. Students’ emotional performance stirred the emotions of the audience and judges and received ample appreciation and encouragement for the unique presentation of the concept.  Students of BKI E-11 won the 1st prize for the category of tableau.Quaid -e-Azam once said, “Kashmir is a jugular vein of Pakistan”. Believing in this fact, Pakistan will always stand with Kashmir and one day, by the will of Allah Kashmir will get its due right of freedom.
