My Memorable Investiture Ceremony

Last Monday, we had our Investiture Ceremony, a special event where we received our sashes. I arrived at the venue at 8:30 a.m. and first went to pick my seat. The ceremony began with the Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy carrying the flags onto the stage. After that, we all stood for the national anthem.

Once we settled down, the Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputies, and House Captains were called on stage to receive their sashes. Then, it was my turn to deliver my speech, which I read confidently. Afterward, I was called to receive my sash, and I felt truly honored to be appointed as the school’s Lighthouse Ambassador.

As the Lighthouse Ambassador, my duty is to promote the Leader in Me habits throughout the school, encourage students to take initiative, and help create a positive and respectful learning environment. I will also support and motivate my peers to take on leadership roles and be responsible members of our school community.

When the ceremony ended, most students left, and the Early Years Investiture Ceremony began. The little ones performed dances, and some even cried during the event. By the time we were leaving, it was 12:30 p.m.

It was a wonderful and unforgettable day that I will always cherish.
