In order to inculcate the healthy eating habits among the students, Nurseries organized an interactive, colorful and fulfilled ‘Fruitilicious Brunch’. The event was attended by the students with their mothers who showcased their creativity and cooking talents by preparing scrumptious fruit tarts, salads, breads and much more. There were special art and craft activities with necklace making and blindfold games. The air was filled with the sweet aroma of fresh fruits and the cheerful chatter of our students and their amazing mothers. There were colorful fruit stations. Tables were piled high with vibrant mangoes, juicy strawberries, crisp apples, and plump grapes. The brunch activity was a huge success, proving that healthy eating can be both fun and a great way to build community.
Our students and their mothers worked together, turning a simple brunch into a delightful creative project. We saw little ones carefully threading fruit onto skewers and mothers helping to chop bananas, all while laughing and sharing stories.
This event was more than just a delicious meal. It was a beautiful opportunity for mothers to connect with their children in the school environment and for families to get to know each other. It showed our students that eating healthy can be an enjoyable shared activity, and it strengthened the wonderful bond between home and school.
The best part was seeing everyone enjoy the fresh, handmade fruit platters created by mothers. The happiness on the children’s faces as they proudly showed off their creations was truly priceless. It was a simple activity with a big impact, reminding us all of the importance of spending quality time together and nourishing our bodies.
