Beaconhouse takes Physical Education as an integral part of the whole school curriculum. Our system provides lots of opportunities for cross-curricular activities, as we believe a sound mind resides in a sound body. Physical Education provides the opportunity for students to learn about movement, strategies, teamwork, problem solving and health related fitness apart from inculcating sportsmanship, leadership and teamwork.
Our students wait for their P.E. lessons as they are aware that exercise is good for their physical and mental health too. It can battle low moods, sharpen their focus, and improve self-esteem. All our sports activities are designed to cater to this very fragile age group and individual needs of different athletes.
Keeping the above in view, Upper Primary of F-8/2 conducted their Annual Sports Day on the 17th February,2023.
