Members of the Science & Technology Club of Beaconhouse College Programme Margalla, Islamabad visited the National Centre for Physics based in Quaid-I-Azam University!

The insightful event brought together students and experts to exchange knowledge and bring students up to date on the cutting edge of science.

The trip included a visit to each of the Centres of Excellence—namely CoE Physics, AITeC, PIAM3D, and NINVAST which are centres for physics, AI technologies, 3D printing and scanning, and vacuum sciences respectively—where students viewed state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure used for cutting edge research. This included Pakistan’s largest particle accelerator with a maximum beam energy of 45MeV.

This event proved insightful, revealing key opportunities in physics and increasingly relevant fields, while being a great learning opportunity for all.
Such trips not just help the students in their educational development but also helps them with their professional life when they inculcate their learnings into practical applications.
