Intra Group Debates

The Medical Union Club organized its Intra Group Debates on October 15, 2025, focusing on the highly thought-provoking topic of the ethical and legal concerns surrounding organ transplantation. The debate aimed to encourage students to critically examine the complexities of modern medicine, particularly the moral dilemmas and legal frameworks that define organ donation and transplantation procedures. Representing the defence, the Medical Union Student Council presented arguments highlighting the life-saving potential and medical necessity of organ transplants, while the opposing teams raised important questions about consent, fairness, and bioethics. The event witnessed intense discussion, persuasive reasoning, and strong research-based arguments from all participants, reflecting the intellectual spirit of the Medical Union. After careful deliberation by the judges, Team Code Silver was declared the winner for their exceptional delivery and logical reasoning, followed closely by Team Code Pink as the runner-up. The event concluded with great enthusiasm and valuable takeaways for all.
