On Children’s Day, Well-being counselors of BCP Margalla celebrated the Children’s Day highlighting the importance of nurturing children’s emotional, physical, and social well-being. The event created meaningful opportunities for students to reflect on what every child truly needs to grow and thrive.
Every child matters themed play cards displayed fundamental children’s rights, including the right to education, play, mental health, safety, to be heard, and to speak. These powerful reminders helped raise awareness about the importance of protecting and respecting every child’s voice and well-being.
The reflection board, One Thing Every Child Deserves, encouraged students to think deeply about children’s emotions and needs, fostering empathy and understanding. Adding a joyful and energetic element, Be a Child Again, conducted with the support of sports teachers, allowed students to relive the spirit of childhood through different games. The celebration beautifully reinforced that every child deserves care, respect, and happiness.
