On 10th September, our well-being counselors organized meaningful activities to mark World Suicide Prevention Day. This year’s theme focused on changing the narrative around suicide. The day was a reminder that even small act of kindness can go a long way in bringing light to someone’s life.

One of the most impactful initiatives was the Wall of Hope. Students and staff were encouraged to write down kind and uplifting messages that could inspire others and remind everyone that they are not alone. From simple words of encouragement to heartfelt notes of compassion the wall quickly filled with messages that radiated positivity and hope. Facts and Myths about suicide provided an eye-opening experience for everyone. The activity helped students and teachers learning how to separate misconceptions from the truth. This activity not only increased awareness but also highlighted the importance of empathy, awareness and standing together to create a safe environment where no one feels alone.

The response from the entire school community was heartwarming reflecting the spirit of solidarity and compassion that the day represents.

By the end of the day, the message was clear hope is powerful, kindness matters and together, we can make a difference.
