Beaconhouse recently hosted an exciting and eventful Freshmen Week designed to welcome AS students into the dynamic world of academics and extracurricular opportunities. The week-long orientation aimed to familiarize new students with the academic environment while ensuring a smooth transition into college life.
The week kicked off with an engaging orientation session, where students actively participated in discussions and activities. The session was followed by an open mic event, which radiated energy and enthusiasm as students showcased their talents and built camaraderie with their peers. Simultaneously, parents attended an informative session that highlighted key aspects of the academic and non-academic programs.
On the second day, Club and Society Fair was organized, introducing the AS batch to a wide array of co-curricular opportunities. Students were briefed about each society’s purpose, upcoming activities, and the registration process, sparking interest and inspiring involvement in campus life beyond the classroom.
The third day focused on the future with an insightful career counselling session. Students explored diverse career pathways, gaining clarity about their academic choices and professional aspirations. This session proved invaluable in helping students chart a roadmap aligned with their strengths and goals.
The week concluded on an empowering note with a “Train Your Brain” session conducted by the Well-being Counselors. This workshop introduced students to the Well-being Programme, which emphasizes self-awareness, mental resilience, and personal growth—key components for holistic development and academic success.
Freshmen Week was not just an orientation; it was an immersive experience that blended learning, interaction, and self-discovery. By the end of the week, AS students were better equipped, more confident, and ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the year ahead.
