Medical Union Trip

The Medical Union organized an educational visit to Shifa International Hospital, offering students valuable clinical exposure and insight into modern medical practices. The visit began at the Cardiology Department, where students learned about diagnostic procedures such as ECG, ETT, and Holter monitoring and their importance in assessing heart function. In the Radiology Department, they explored advanced imaging technologies including CT scans, MRI, X-rays, and fluoroscopy, gaining an understanding of how these tools assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment. During their session on Gastroenterology, students were introduced to the structure and working of an endoscope, learning how it aids in internal examinations. The visit also included the Neurophysiology Department, where they learned about tests used to assess brain and nerve activity. Overall, the visit provided a comprehensive and interactive learning experience, bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world medical applications and inspiring future pursuits in healthcare.
