As part of the Beaconhouse Wellbeing Programme’s ongoing commitment to emotional well-being and community care, World Mental Health Day was observed with a series of creative, reflective, and uplifting activities themed “What Lifts You Up” and “What Mental Peace Looks Like”.

Teachers exchanged anonymous appreciation notes through the Thank You Initiative and wore green ribbons, showing solidarity in promoting mental health awareness, compassion, and acceptance. Self-care check-in resources encouraged reflection on social, emotional, physical, and professional well-being.

Through creative expression, students engaged in art activities i.e., Tree of Resilience and It’s Okay Not to Be Okay designing posters and cards capturing messages of hope, empathy, and resilience. The Mindful Release Jar offered a space to let go of worries while Through My Lens photo submissions beautifully captured what peace means to each individual, reminding that peace can be found in the simplest moments.

The day reinforced community, creativity, and compassion as vital pillars of mental wellness.
