The BCP literary society in collaboration with the Law Society Pro Bono Publico arranged Law Moot’21.An excellent display of court room proceeding was delineated for the students.

What is a Law Moot? , you might wonder…The purpose of the Law Moot is to mimic the actual scenario of a court proceedings and to test how the students would work in such surroundings. It helps students to  gain an insight on how a typical case is resolved in the court of law which will help them in the future should they pursue Law as a career.

Law Moot was an excellent event which was conducted in a fabulous manner. A case  Mike Ross versus Rachel Zane was given to the students beforehand and were asked to research and prepare the cases as teams. The important highlight of this year event was that the Judges were our schools own alumni ,Muneeb Sajjad Dhillo and Ali Iftikhar, who were delighted at the grooming and development of the law students at BCP.

The prosecutors and appellants delivered their cases immaculately. The teams Suites and Attorney Alliance were flawless in their cases preparation, skeletal arguments , oral delivery and presentation. Both were essentially at par to each other in competition. But there has to be one winner. Though there were no loser in the competition and everyone learnt something more in the end.
