What will be the future of Kashmir?

We have heard all stories of Kashmir since childhood: this is a sad fact that remains even to this day – Kashmir is not free. You might have seen that many people are protesting out on the streets to free Kashmir. Sadly, all of these protests have not changed anything, and this is what hurts me the most.

First of all, India has no right to hurt our Kashmiri brothers. Kashmir is a part of Pakistan. They are our Muslim brothers: but India and Pakistan have been at war for many years. Many people left India and moved to Pakistan, but Kashmiris decided to stay back. They did not want to leave their homeland. They basically wanted freedom from India which is the one thing India does not want to give.

India has been mistreating Kashmir for many years. They mercilessly kill the people who live in Kashmir. And because of this, many families have been heartbroken: a child is wondering where his father is, but little does he know that his father has been brutally killed. Every day, people pray to Allah; to end this horrible nightmare. They do not want this suffering to be continued.

Kashmir is in urgent need of our help. We, as their Muslim brothers, are supposed to help. We shouldn’t prolong their suffering. They have a right to live.
