Kashmir, an oppressed territory!

By Mahnoor Jabbar

Kashmir, a place which belongs to no one. Kashmir, a place filled with a lot of majestic things. Kashmir, a piece of heaven on earth. Kashmir, a place which is known as one of the most beautiful places in the world; yet this place has nothing: no freedom of speech, no human rights. Kashmiris are being killed. They are not given any rights. Two countries are trying to get Kashmir to be a part of them, not even asking Kashmiris if they want to be a part of any country. Indian soldiers are destroying buildings, and homes and especially destroying innocent children’s childhood. No one deserves to be killed or tortured for wanting human rights. Kashmiris are forced to stay in lockdown; many souls are being killed every day. The entire world knows, but no one is willing to help. Everyone says; he understands their pain, but no one actually cares.

Shouldn’t Kashmiris have the right to live normally? Shouldn’t the Kashmir children have a right to live in an independent country? Shouldn’t those children have the right to go to school, study, play and live happily? Shouldn’t their parents have the right to watch their children live happily rather than being killed in front of their eyes just because they want to live freely? Every human should have the right to live the way he wants, not the way some merciless people want them to live. In the same way, the Kashmiris should also have the right to live.
