Beaconhouse Wapda Town Campus recently lit up in the 2nd week of September with the vibrant celebration of Literacy Week, a captivating initiative dedicated to kindling the flame of curiosity and love for language among our budding scholars.

Immersing students in the enchanting world of books, teachers curated a mesmerizing reading corner for grades 1-5. Here, young minds not only delved into captivating stories but also shared their boundless passion for the magic hidden within the pages.

Adding a sprinkle of storytelling magic, children from grades 1-5 took centre stage to narrate their favourite tales, this showcased their communication skills and fostered confidence. Unleashing their prowess in public speaking.

 In a world filled with digital screens and keyboards, ” there is truly something magical about the art of writing and putting pen to paper…Handwriting is more than a practical skill, it is an art form that allows children to express their creativity; it is also about creating a symphony of strokes, curves and loops that express the uniqueness of each pupil. Handwriting day, thereby served as a celebration of this magic, inviting young minds to explore the wonders of the written world. 

Culminating the week in a burst of colour and imagination, the Grand Character Parade stole the spotlight. From Harry Potter to Rapunzel, How to Train Your Dragon to Spider-Man – our campus transformed into a realm where beloved characters came to life, leaving everyone in awe. 

Literacy Week at Beaconhouse Wapda Town Campus was not just about words on pages; it was a journey of creativity, critical thinking, and confidence-building. As characters danced through the halls and stories echoed in every corner, the campus became a haven for nurturing young minds into lovers of language and lifelong learners.
