Happy Birthday Goose!

There can be many different reasons to organize an event raise awareness, share information, education & entertainment. They all come with their benefits. A well-organized event can have a great impact in terms of visibility and goodwill and develop the organizational skills, team work and leadership skills in the students where they become independent learners and take responsibility of their learning .It may also help to develop skills that will help the children in their future lives.
The students of pre Nursery worked on an organizing the birthday of Goose on Friday 4th of November in context of the reader “Happy Birthday Goose “.Pre Nursery LMA students incorporated ‘The Birthday Theme” and celebrated a birthday party integrated with their ongoing reader “Happy Birthday Goose”.
There were a lot of highlighting points of the event .Mothers were shown a compilation video of the different activities that were conducted in class during the preparations of birthday for Goose. The students gave little presentations of their work, , sang the birthday song, designed birthday cards ,birthday banner, made party hats and cupcake crafts and experienced the celebration of a birthday party which helped to enhance their fine motor and social skills. Through these activities they also learnt to work in collaboration in groups and learnt new vocabulary.
This initiative promoted connection-based learning and collaboration by providing students with meaningful opportunities. Mothers were also invited to the event who enjoyed the event and were excited to see the handmade material made by their children and their presentations. The students did remarkable work and mothers enjoyed their creativity and imagination and were glad to see their children actively participating in the event. ☺
