The dawn of a dusty morning the coolness of breeze and the warm up of our superheroes. All set to make this day a memorable one for everyone.
With the final day and in few hours the final event held at CSBC Campus our little champs of LMA have been rehearsing tirelessly to make their Mama Baba proud.
The superheroes of LMA Wapda Town are ready to rock,shine and fly off as sky is there limit.
The Sports day was held on Saturday 17th November,2022. The theme of our JUNIOR SPORTS LEAGUE is “Super Heroes.” The students eagerly waited for their grand parents, parents and siblings to be seated. Our guest of honour Mr Yasir Jaan a rising star in the world of cricket T20, Mr.Daood Mirza Pakistan’s first Wushu Champion, they were welcomed by our respectable Head Mistress Ms.Nayyer Naveed Qureshi.
The event started with the March Past of our tiny tots the ground was filled with discipline ,smiles bright eyes and tiny waves at the glimpse of their families. In minutes the ground was filled with all kinds of heroes from ninja turtles to superman , from batman to flash all stood their with there right hands stretched to take the oath . The event started with the permission of our honourable chief guest .
Then the surprises began to unveil , the troops of little superheroes marched along the ground smiling as brightly as the sun ,waving the flag of our country and school .
The oath was taken solemnly by the students and just like that commenced the sports day. The banner was released to the sky, spreading the feeling of unity, togetherness,freedom and excitement along the sky.
Next came along the National anthem , the crowd rose up to pay its respects to our country and remember the motto of Quaid “Work,Work and Work.”
LMA WAPDA TOWN had taken the initiative of arranging the interschool sports day with over 5+ schools taking part in it:
LMA 11 FCC , BSS BAHRIA TOWN , CSGC , BSS JT.J , BSS VALENCIA , LMA 72 L , THE CRESCENT MONTESSORI , LMA WAPDA TOWN , LMA PRIMARY 11 FCC . Our remarkable guests made the event successful with their enthusiasm and positive spirit. Their participation proved to be productive and taught our students sportsmanship in the best way.
The teams participated in Sprint race ,three legged race, sack race,lemon & spoon race, hurdle race and Teachers ball dribbling race.
LMA 72 L students bagged the most medals and were declared the best team award .Team LMA Wapda Town gave their best and got 4 medals in the “Interschool Sports Fest 2.0”.
The highlights of the day were the power pack super hero welcome performance, karate, gymnastic, aerobic, tile breaking, and PT display performances which left the audience awestruck and drew constant applause from the spectators.
As soon as the races began, the air was filled with cheers for the Pre-Nursery to grade two athletes. The children demonstrated various skills learnt and developed at school.The students were extremely excited after receiving their participation medals as it made their day and there smiled made our day.
In the end children learnt to accept both victory and defeat with grace. Through this event the children were encouraged to actively participate in extracurricular activities besides focusing on studies. The parents were full of praises for the Sports Fest 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed their day.
The event ended with good memories to cherish for the rest of the year. The teachers and helping staff were awarded certificates for their hard and dedicated team work which led to a successful event.
