Through iEARN (International Education and Resource Network), students from Class 4 and 5 at Beaconhouse School System Wapda Town were given the opportunity to engage in an enriching journey of cultural exchange and collaboration with peers from Japan, Australia, Indonesia, and India. 🌍✨

iEARN, a platform designed to connect students and educators across the globe, played a pivotal role in bringing together over 2000 students and 500 educators from diverse cultural backgrounds. This project showcased the immense potential of technology in making the world a smaller and more interconnected place. ### The Role of SST in this Cultural Exchange 🌏🤗
While this project was primarily about cultural exchange conducted by Ms.Faryal and Ms.Bushra, it also provided an excellent opportunity to reinforce Social Studies (SST) lessons. Students were able to directly connect what they had learned in the classroom to real-world experiences. The learning began with research about the different cultures in Pakistan, poster making and reports about provinces to the celebration of Culture Day with vibrant dresses and special desi food to share with peers. They explored the cultural objects and practices of their peers from other countries, learning about their traditions, rituals, and daily life. This hands-on experience brought their SST lessons to life and gave them a practical perspective on the concepts they had studied.
