This year\u2019s campaign theme\u2014 #BreaktheBias \u2014 was focused on the general biasedness against women that leads to gender inequality.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhether deliberate or unconscious, bias makes it difficult for women to move ahead,\u201d the International Women\u2019s Day website reads. \u201cKnowing that bias exists isn\u2019t enough, action is needed to level the playing field.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Keeping the theme in view and to uplift the women in our society,\u00a0 homage was paid to all the women in our society during the morning assembly by students of middle and senior school, especially those who have actually made a difference in the society. Women like Fatima Jinnah, General Nigar Johar, Arfa Kareem and so many other names who have made women proud and set a benchmark for all.<\/p>\n<p>Students of early years and primary level made cards and paper flowers for the women around them; mother&#8217;s, grandmothers, teachers, etc. It was a day buzzing with activity for all levels in one way or another.<\/p>\n<p>She is a Dreamer, she is a believer, she is a doer, she is an achiever, and that she is \u201cYou\u201d.
