Urdu Week Assembly

The Urdu Week is being celebrated at #BDRRC Senior School which aims at providing the students a platform to enhance their linguistic skills . The students did a splendid job of promoting our national language Urdu with their stage performances based on the poems of Allama Mohammad Iqbal, our National poet , Faiz Ahmad Faiz , and other famous poets . The event was hosted by Parish Virk from Grade 9 Matric and Rija Raja from G 11 Cambridge who did a spectacular job in entrancing the audience with their poetry and witty comments. Students of grade 8 also participated enthusiastically in various activities like singing ghazals of Allama Iqbal, Faiz Ahmed Faiz and also conducted an interactive quiz which was  applauded by all.The song performances and speeches were applauded by everyone . The students of grade 9 and grade 10 presented drama on the famous play Dastak which was quite mesmerizing. It was a fantastic effort on behalf of the students and the Urdu Department.
