Winning the British Council International School Award for 2021-23 is a great achievement. The utmost efforts of our teachers and students resulted in the form of this award. The topic was ‘A Friendly Environment’ based on the cross curricular links with different subjects across all grade levels.

The purpose of the activity was to enable our young learners to make a friendly environment through recycling material and to educate the people around us including the junior staff at school and the house helps at homes by our energetic students. The ISA Project was conducted across Primary and Middle Section from grade 3 – 8 focusing on the sustainable development goals.

Our international partner schools were from Afghanistan, Egypt and Nigeria and the local partner schools from Okara, Nankana Sahib and Lahore. Our students were completely engaged in the different activities across all the designated levels during the F2F and BSU environment. Grade 6-7-8 further focused upon the sub SDGs related to Gender Equalities and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. Motivational speaking sessions, TED Talks, personal pledges, food maps, etc. were some of the activities conducted by them.

Grades 3-4-5 worked on the activity; Compost Chronicles supported by Middle School to create awareness for environmental evolution. The young students inculcated in-house practice of utilizing organic waste and increased recycling blending with their Science curriculum. To blend in the project well as an amalgamation of learning alongside gaining experience from different activities based on life goals it was inculcated with almost all the subjects.

It was a tremendous effort fully supported by our dream team of management team members and staff with our determined and ever willing to learn student body.
