Our dignity is not in what we do, but what we understand.
George Santayana
The month of October has been packed with different activities relating to Dignity and Global Dignity Day. Our students ensured stepping up and being a part of any and every activity. One such event was the ‘Dignity Day Lunch’ arranged for the junior staff at the campus.
The lunch was followed by different games including musical chairs, tug of war, potato peeling race and eating the most bananas in least time. Our student council from senior school and student elites from grade 7 and 8 took over the floors at home time to arrange the classes and later presented chocolates to the staff. Our students had prepared for this event by helping in raising charity through the Bake sale held in the month of September. The event lasted a good two hours which culminated with a token of thanks presented in form of hand made envelopes specially created for the purpose.
Special thanks to our student body to thrive for a better world, a true depiction of these words by Henry S. Truman
We must build a new world, a far better world one in which the eternal dignity of man is respected.
