Junior MUN is an extravagant academic stimulation event arranged by BSS Main Campus, Canal, Primary Block under the guidance and enlightenment of Ms. Shaeela Shafqat where students played the role of delegates and attempted to solve real-world issues. It aimed to initiate creativity and boost public speaking skills among them. Students attended the conferences under the mentorship of Beaconhouse Almuni and raised their voices against global issues.
Pupils represented themselves as delegates of different countries and spoke about distinct topics under various committees. They rose up their voices to discuss different matters which not only aided in boosting confidence but also helped in giving awareness to pupils about the latest global discussions. It broadened their vision and made them think over it about how they can contribute to bringing peace and positivity to the world. They enthusiastically called out and aimed to make this earth a better place to live for future generations to come.
The event started with a fly-off confetti ceremony and a warm welcome to the participants of other campuses who actively participated in this occasion. Mentors and chairs of the committees were introduced to all. Later Ms. Shaeela shared her views and gave the green light to start the event.
After the zealous research and speaking, students were entertained with many organized and synchronized games like Squid Game, Scavenger Hunt, Tap the Music, Live Ludo and much more. They passionately participated in the games of their choice and tried their best the win. Pupils loved it and enjoyed the event from morning till dusk. The best delegate was awarded a shield. Delegates were and participants were given certificates in the end. The event came to an end with delicious and delectable refreshments.
It was an innovative event that initiated teamwork, research, and develop communication among students. Moreover, they made new friends by coming out of their former friend’s circle. Pupils intelligently used their brains and tried to win the games. In the end, it was a fun-filled occasion which was highly appreciated by all.
