The curriculum in Pre-Nursery is based on play-based learning. We indulge our students in creative and innovative activities. Students must be given the concept and knowledge before they cram the course. Early Years in Beaconhouse focuses on building a strong foundation before the child steps into higher studies. This week the students of Pre-Nursery are learning the letter “h”. to enhance their vocabulary “Crazy Hat Day” was arranged and students were asked to come in unique hairstyles and hats of their choice.
The response from the students of Pre-Nursery was proof that play-based learning is the best way to learn and remember the alphabets and enhance their vocabulary. Students were dressed in their favorite costume and made hairbands with their favorite characters and decorated the bands with flowers. To enhance the speaking skills, the students of all three sections went to the Principal’s office and presented the “H” basket to our respectable Principal Ms. Sabahet Malik in the presence of our Senior Mistress Ms. Afshan Mumtaz. Students shared about their hats and their learning experience of letter H with Ms. Sabahet. It was real fun for the students wearing different styles of hats and building vocabulary in an innovative way.
