The first ever TNS Monologue Slam was held in June 2021 led by Yahyaa Khan, our student from the Middle Years Programme. Yahyaa came across (World Monologue games) while searching for something to fuel his passion for acting as all summer acting programs were cancelled due to COVID. As he practiced and improved his acting capabilities he also gauged his own skill level and was inspired to learn from other successful actors across the globe.

After World Monologue Games ended in October with Yahyaa ranking 6th in Global Youth; he decided to fill the gap and launch his very own monologue competition called (TNS Monologue Slam). TNS Monologue Slam was a huge success. There were 188 students from 10 different schools across Pakistan who participated in the event and made it a huge success.

TNS Monologue Slam now has a global standing and is being recognized as an official partner of the World Monologue Games.

The students of Beaconhouse Kindergarten branch Faisalabad participated this year like the previous and showcased their talent all over the world. The teachers worked day and night to polish their students acting skills. Students were given a situation to enact upon. They performed really well and got praised by the judges. 2 of our students have also been selected for world Monolouge where they will be competing with the participants from all over the world to get their performance acknowledged by the professional judges, who are there mentors as well as they will be guiding them how to improve their acting skills. Monolouge slam is not just giving our kids the confidence to get themselves in a field where they enjoy what they do. It is also giving them an opportunity to interact to the artists worldwide, and by observing their art they are also learning new ways of expression. It is also being a platform for our students to improve their vocabulary for those who are interested in learning by watching instead of reading.

Monologue slam is a great opportunity where every child gets equal opportunity. Special thanks to Yahya who started it and gave our students a new direction to pursue their dreams.
