Student led PTM at BFKG: A Celebration of Creativity, Learning, and Growth

On October 31st, 2025, BFKG buzzed with excitement as we hosted our much-awaited Student-Led Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) — a day that went beyond routine updates to become a true celebration of learning, creativity, and growth. The school entrance and assembly area were transformed into lively exhibition spaces, filled with colourful displays that reflected the hard work, imagination, and enthusiasm of our young learners.
What made this PTM truly special was that students took the lead. With confidence and pride, they guided their parents through their learning journeys — sharing their best work, reflecting on their progress, and even discussing areas they wished to improve. Teachers joyfully stepped back, watching their learners take ownership and express themselves as thoughtful, independent communicators.
Each grade brought something unique to the event. Our Pre-Nursery learners proudly presented their hand-made houses, creatively learning to recognize their house numbers through personal touches of colour and design. In Nursery, the children explored their car numbers activity — road tracks and vibrant cars turned number learning into a fun, hands-on experience. KG learners showcased their vibrant Billboard Stories and beautifully decorated title pages, transforming hallways into a gallery of storytelling and artistic expression. Meanwhile, our Grade One students amazed everyone with their Wrapper Reading Activity, discovering literacy and observation skills through everyday packaging, showing how learning can happen anywhere.
Throughout the day, the energy was infectious. Parents listened with admiration as their children confidently explained their work, while teachers beamed with pride, knowing how far each learner had come. By the end of the event, parents left with a deeper understanding of their child’s growth, and students walked away with a sense of accomplishment and joy.
The Student-Led PTM was a true reflection of BFKG’s ethos — where creativity meets learning, imagination fuels growth, and every child is encouraged to shine in their own unique way. It was a day filled with joy, discovery, and connection — one that reminded us all that learning is most powerful when students take the lead.
