BFKG arranged a learning cafe under the topic “Kitchen and sensory garden” as it is an integral part of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). Honorable Chief guests of the event Dr. Shahzad Basra (Professor at Agriculture University) along with Mr. Sajid Sindhu (CEO of The Green Circle) were invited to enlighten the audience about the advantages of cultivating a kitchen garden. They engaged the children in a hands-on experience of sowing vegetable seeds in the school garden and made the session highly productive and informative. Parents appreciated initiating the School kitchen garden activities at BFKG.

The seeds were also given to the learners which they planted in their homes to make a better tomorrow.

Dive into the world of nature with our “Kitchen and Sensory Garden” initiative. During the BFKG Learning Cafe, our kids planted a vibrant kitchen garden in the school. They were engaged in hands-on learning, sowing the seeds of Red Radish, Carrot, Coriander, Turnip, Spinach, Fenugreek, and Radish in our school’s front area. The plants are thriving beautifully, creating a vibrant and educational atmosphere for our budding learners.
Mr. Sajid Sandhu (CEO of The Green Circle) graced the event with his presence and guided the young learners to harvest the vegetables.
Our students celebrated the joy of learning and nurturing these little green wonders of our blooming Kitchen garden!
