Children’s day is celebrated each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children’s welfare and it is an opportunity for us to tell our children that they are the most important thing, and we are there for them and we will support them no matter what ever the circumstances are, and their happiness is something that we always want and we wish to see the smiles on their faces not just today but always. As Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe once said,
“To me, there is no picture so beautiful as smiling, bright-eyed, happy children; no music so sweet as their clear and ringing laughter.”
The children’s day was celebrated at Beaconhouse school system Faisalabad Kindergarten branch to make the children feel special and to tell them that they are a significant members of the society. The day was filled with beautiful surprises. Urdu teachers arranged a puppet show for the children which made them laugh out loud. It was indeed a treat to watch the puppet show. The Puppets told three stories, each with different moral, which taught our students how the excess of screen play and eating candies is not good. The students were the happiest after watching the puppet show and that was just the beginning. They had a jumping Castle to have fun on and a train was also arranged for the kids, because who in the world don’t like a train ride! And that’s not the end, our worthy headmistress Maam Naheed Alamgir knew that kids would love grab a bite after the fun filled tiring activities, so she made sure the kids get a treat and enjoy the day to their fullest, therefore the kids had juices, cotton candy and popcorns. It was a day when kids made their parents wait for them as they wanted to stay in for a longer time. Their smiles were telling the amount of fun they had in school.
