Beaconhouse school system kindergarten branch faisalabad agrees with Pablo Picasso when he said “Every child is an Artist ” . Undoubtedly every single child in our school did their best work which was presented in the Art Exhibition. All the levels at BFKG were given a separate topic of Art to work on.
Pre-nurserys the youngest of all were given “Thinking out of the Box” where they did their magic on the canvas while playing with shapes. Nurserys worked on “Skillful Hands” where our kids put their imagination on paper while painting with hands directly and some were super creative and turned their footprint into something magical. KGs showed their artistic skills while working on “Still Life” students drew amzaing drawings in still life, some drew vases, some drew their favorite toy and some even drew the musical instruments. Our young learners were given a free hand to choose an object of their choice and put it to paper. The class 1s worked on “World Heritage” where each level chose a country and then students researched on that particular country’s food, architecture, heritage and a lot more.
The Art pieces were then put into Exhibition for parents to come and witness the wonders their kids have done, and to be a part of something meaningful to bring a change in the society. The art pieces of our young artists were put on sale in the Exhibition to collect money for Charity. Beaconhouse school system kindergarten branch faisalabad is always focusing on the child’s learning not just within the classroom but on a broader spectrum and is trying its best to make a difference in society by giving it the individuals who are innovative, inquisitive and empathetic.
The main purpose behind this was definitely to help the needy and to teach our kids who are going to take over the world tomorrow a very important and a basic thing in life that we as humans are responsible for other humans well being and we should try to help each other one way or the other to make this world a beautiful place to live in.
And our students along with their parents made this event successful by buying their art pieces and contributed in something bigger than it seems. The students were very eager and they were very well informed of the cause by their worthy teachers and the untiring efforts of ma’am Naheed Alamgir.
The electronic media not just covered the event but appreciated our school’s Administration for teaching the kids the importance of giving at such young age, they even interviewed some of our young learners and were amazed to see the knowledge they were delivering and how well informed they were on what they have done and why they have done it.
BFKG never fails to play its role as responsible citizens of Pakistan and they sure are setting some examples to follow for everyone.
