                                                                           KINDNESS DAY
Every year in November, the world celebrates World Kindness Day, a day that reminds us of the importance of being kind to everyone around us. It’s a day to multiply positive actions and contribute to building a better world.

In the small world of LMA 6E, along with the whole school, our Kindergarteners also celebrated “World Kindness Day”. For this, they were asked to bring Kindness Jars comprising of little acts of kindness that they did throughout the weekend to share on Monday (15th November,2021).

Students proudly presented their pleasingly and artistically decorated “Kindness Jars” (made from recycled jars), during the Circle Time (PSED) in the morning.
The jars had little hand written notes by the students that they attempted to read out loud, themselves to their teachers and class fellows.
The adorable notes included small acts of kindness from
“Sharing my chocolate with my brother.”, “Helping my mom clean up.” to the simplest of them being,” Giving a smile to my Nano”.

   

Apart from this, they also planned one act of kindness as the whole class.
For instance, KG Pansy brought Bird seeds and a bird seed holder to feed the birds outside of the school.
KG Lily presented a chocolate bar to one of the Junior Staff (Aya Nasreen) along with a “Thank you” card for the service Aya jee provides to us all.

Outcome :
All these activities as a whole helped inculcate humility and kindness in the students.
Special emphasis was placed in the fact that how wonderful one feels after a selfless act of kindness and how simple acts of kindness can elevate the other person.
