The children of the Classes VI and VII visited the Zoo on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, as part of an educational trip. They started their journey at 9:30 am by bus to 360 Zoo; an adventurous and serene public entertainment facility based on the concept of Zoological & Botanical Garden. It offers an unobstructed view of wild and rare animals in their natural habitat.
On arrival at the Zoo, the teachers led their classes to the different cages. At the Zoo, the children saw the Lions in the enclosure. A little further, they saw the Spotted Deer, Monkeys, and Birds (African Parrots and Flamingos). They were thrilled on seeing the birds, especially the bats, wild animals, plants. Etc. This helped to revise the concepts and sounds taught in the class. The children also posed for photographs at different spots.
As a part of the Mega Plantation Campaign “Sarsabz-o-Shadab Pakistan” teachers and students earnestly participated, planting saplings. Tree Planting projects help connect students to the benefits of trees and foster environmental stewardship. This invitation for plantation activity from DHA is in connection with the ‘Plantation drive’ the Life Skill Club initiated a year ago.
After a well-spent morning at the Zoo, the children returned to school fully satisfied and with happy memories. It was a learning experience for the children.
