During Ramzan, our library hosted a series of meaningful learning activities for students from Class 1 to Grades 6–8, promoting reading, research, reflection and life skills.
Class 1 students enjoyed a guided reading session on Islamic months and identified the names from the story, strengthening early reading and recognition skills.
Class 2 students worked in pairs with Islamic readers and completed a simple book review, encouraging teamwork, discussion and comprehension.
Class 3 students read three storybooks and wrote the moral lessons from each, helping them connect stories with values and character.
Class 4 students explored different Islamic readers and completed short written reflections based on themes and lessons from the books.
Class 5 students researched Islamic leaders, heroes and Prophets and created posters for the Islamic Heroes Wall, developing research and presentation skills.
Grades 6–8 students participated in a focus group session on The Art of Saying No, where they learned to manage peer pressure, set healthy boundaries and make confident, responsible choices.
Overall, the Ramzan library programme supported students’ academic growth, values and personal development in a meaningful and engaging way.
