Home to marvelous natural sceneries as well as a wide range of the cultural and historical sites, Islamabad has become a wonderful destination for an ideal school trip.
Beaconhouse Cantt Campus arranged a trip to Islamabad for the students of the Secondary Section on March 18th – 20th, 2023.
Students visited Islamabad to spend some memorable time with each other and to see the connection between what is happening in school and in the real world. It was a Three-day trip.
On Day One, Students left Multan to reach Islamabad. In the afternoon, they got themselves ready to visit Pakistan Monument as well as Museum and Shakarparian. Young and enthusiastic beaconites had a great time there and they enjoyed to the fullest. After a hectic day, students reached Saidur Village to enjoy a lavish dinner.
Day 2 was even more exciting and awaited for the beaconites as they were ready to experience the beauty of the nature. They visited Shandara Valley, Daman-e-koh, National Park and then had their meal at Monal Restaurant. The day was ended with the dinner.
Day 3 was the last day of the trip. Beaconites visited Khewra Salt Mines which was both recreational and educational. It provided the beaconites with an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful sights and learn about the history of the second largest mine in the world, which is one of the country’s greatest treasures. After a bustling but enjoyable day, students went to PTDC to have their lunch there. After the lunch, it was the time to wrap up this trip and start their journey towards Multan.
This Three-day trip not only provided our young beaconites a chance to nurture themselves but also helped them to gather knowledge to think with reason and live with more practical approach to life. This trip to the beauty spots provided students with both fascinating learning opportunities and nostalgic experience.
It was indeed a memorable trip!
