BSS Cantt Campus Multan welcomed Spring season by organizing an event “Spring Fete” for the parents and learners on March 17, 2022. Our Pakistani Cultural themed event gave learners and parents an opportunity to celebrate the diversity and cultural richness that exists within and beyond our immediate community.
Exhibitions of artistic works:
With the aim to propagate and disseminate cultural themes, artisans from all over Multan city were invited to participate and exhibit their work like block prints and ceramics.
Cultural dance:
A group of folk dancers from Multan displayed Seraiki jhoomar and ghora raqs (horse dance). Clad in bright yellow and red kurtas and lachas. Moving to the rhythms of dhol and castanets, they invited generous applause from the audience.
Learning Areas:
Parents were given a tour of the school and were facilitated by the teachers at learning areas to showcase the pedagogy methods being used by them.
Hands on demonstrations:
Practical and interactive demonstrations were given by teachers to give an overview of how learners are engaged with the curriculum at BSS Cantt Campus.
Showcasing talents:
Learners’ art work was at display, reflecting their knowledge and understanding of Pakistani Culture.
Apart from that, the day also included cooking club, activities with enhanced resources, informative speeches on the importance of culture, stimulating science experiments, enchanting storytelling with props and much more. Participants at Spring Fete got a chance to witness how BSS Cantt Campus enriches its pupils’ lives in the classroom and through extracurricular activities. Enrichment strategies were evident while engaging students during the opening of Kindergarten Urdu Reader “Sher ki shadi” where learners actively demonstrated the traditions of Pakistani Wedding ceremonies.
The Open day at BSS Cantt Campus Multan gave parents and learners an insight about the school culture, curriculum and the learning model. They were also able to meet the leadership team in a positive and supportive atmosphere created by our inspirational staff and shining pupils.
