Observed by all Pakistanis on February 5th each year, the Kashmir Solidarity Day is marked to show to the Kashmiris and the world at large that Pakistan and its people have not forgotten the long-pending issue.
Expressing the utmost commitment of the people of Pakistan to the people of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the students of UP and Middle Section expressed solidarity and honoured the courageous people of Kashmir by paying tribute in a special Kashmir Day assembly.
Adorned by a cultural representation of Kashmiri culture, speeches and a lyrical tribute by the School choir, the assembly concluded with a powerful message by Headmistress, Ms.Shireen Shafqat, that Pakistan stands tall with Kashmiris through thick and thin.
Students of Early Years and Lower Primary commemorated their solidarity and support with the Kashmiris with full zeal and unmatched patriotism as they participated in putting up stalls that accentuated Kashiri culture and traditions. Moreover they were seen singing melodious kashmiri songs and presenting their thoughts in the form of speeches. Teachers briefed about the ongoing freedom movement in Kashmir while inculcating the true meaning of freedom in our little ones.
