The entrepreneurial spirit encompasses innovation, self-efficacy, and capability of facing the un-known. SEED Ventures (Social, Entrepreneurship, and Equity Development) was established in 2009. SEED is founder of the Entrepreneurship Challenge Pakistan (ECP) and is working in collaboration with Prince\u2019s Trust established in 2015 that has been providing grants to projects helping with overcoming unemployment globally.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the project is to instill entrepreneurial spirit in the youth of Pakistan, especially by creating social enterprises. The Students between the ages of 14 to 18 will be made the part of the challenge. BCP Multan has been selected amongst the other schools to participate in the venture. To make the project a success the teachers Mr. Khurram Liaqat and Ms. Javeria Hashmi, were appointed and trained. They will also be responsible to inculcate their learning in the students, keeping with the guidelines provided by ECP.<\/p>\n

To train the teachers 2 days training program was arranged. On the first day the participants from various schools were briefed about the working of ECP. It highlighted how ECP has been delivering by creating young entrepreneurs. The trainer Ms. Gul-e-Zara explained about the curriculum which included enhancing team building, communication skills, safeguarding, problem solving and lastly decision making. The training sessions included learning through activities and emphasized on the importance of using ethical methods while running the businesses. \u00a0These skills were in relevance to the idea of producing entrepreneurs. On the second day a simulation game challenge was introduced to the participants. The participants were instructed to train the students shortlisted by ECP in accordance to the skills taught in the trainings.<\/p>\n

The significance of entrepreneurship is mostly undermined due to the risks involved. Challenges like ECP are a huge contribution to the society at large.\u00a0 Not only the project will educate and empower the participants but in the longer run it will uplift the country\u2019s economy as a whole. BCP Multan is privileged to be a part of the cause.<\/p>\n
