Breaking the stereotypes and glass ceilings, the women of our country have emerged as successful entrepreneurs, CEOs, doctors, lawyers and are serving in all professions. Beaconhouse is the most noticeable institution to have made contribution in creating an inclusive and diverse environment at work place. It has been instilling similar values in the students since decades and has provided the women a platform to excel without disparity.
BCP Multan celebrated the day by recognizing the potential and achievements of all female members. The day began with a delightful breakfast for the staff members. The decor was extravagant. Some heavenly cupcakes were served. To make the day joyful the campus was emblazoned with purple flowers, balloons and indoor lights. The staff members enjoyed taking photos together. The highlight of the day was a friendly cricket match between female and male teachers. The two teams enjoyed the cheerful match. The day concluded by entertaining the female staff with their favorite songs in campus powerhouse.
The staff members adorned purple. Wearing purple on this day showed that they are joining other women across the world in solidarity to celebrate this special day. It also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. As this day holds immense significance the BCP Multan administration planned it carefully and made sure the women staff members felt special and validated.
