BMMUNIII is the third edition of an exciting tradition of MUNs that are hosted by BCP Multan. The previous events were held in 2016 and 2020. Beaconhouse Multan Model United Nations is a 3 day long Model United Nations conference which aims to bring forth the political and debating side of all delegates. Just like the United Nations, BMMUNs are divided into multiple committees, each with their own chairs and delegates, and are based on existing committees in the United Nations. It is known for being one of the best Model United Nations conferences across Pakistan.
This year, the BMMUN family brought something unique.
Keeping close to the origins, BMMUNIII retained the following committees: PNA, WHO, UNSC, UNW, UN Economic a
nd Financial Committee, DISEC and SOCHUM .This year event was headed by the executive council: Shees Khalid(President),Tayyaba Durrani(vice president),Mariam Liaqat(secretary general).
And now to the fun part! The long awaited and feature of BMMUNIII was undoubtedly the social nights. We had two fun filled social nights:
1st The concert night: The wait was anxious but rewarding at the same time as well and what a night it was! The participants were greeted by the world renowned singer RDB! especially flown from London to straight BCP Multan Campus. The participants were over the moon and everyone danced and enjoyed to the tunes of RDB as the concert went late into night. But even that turned out to be gold dust when RDB himself invited the most exuberating participants to accompany him on the tunes on stage!
2nd The Formal dinner: This was the night of recognition and rewarding the br
illiant efforts of delegates, chairs and organizing committee .Our chief guest for the night was Mr. Akhtar Malik the Provincial Minister for Energy whom along with Principal Beaconhouse College program Multan campus had a long que to present awards whom thoroughly deserved every bit of it. T
he program started with honorable mentions of delegates and participants followed by a mesmerizing song by our very own student sajjal Zeeshan. After the enthralling reward ceremonies came the time for scrumptious dinner where the participants and guests enjoyed the feat. And with it came close of yet another edition of MUN with promise of new dawn and setting trend for new team with
new zeal.
