BCP Multan hosted a 3-day long Welcome Week for the new AS batch from the 14th of Sept to the 16th of Sept, 2022. This initiative was taken by the A2 batch to offer a fun-filled welcome to the new lot. The first day was a Bake Sale affair where students demonstrated social responsibility and successfully collected a significant amount of funds for the affectees of the devastating floods of 2022. The proceeds were sent to the Mahmud Ali Kasuri Welfare Trust which is actively working towards relief efforts on the ground.
The next was an action and fun- packed day titled as the Ethnic Day where the entire student body, AS and A2, celebrated the traditional side of our culture. The atrium was decorated with traditional matkas and chairs, walls were adorned with flowers and other preparations were made to create an ambiance that went with the overall aesthetic of the theme. There were food stalls that offered gol gappas, donuts, and fries to complement the day. The day also held activities like dholak playing and singing Pakistani songs.
The third and final day was the Freshers’ Fair. This was a day organized by the Executive Council of the various clubs and societies being offered at BCP to give the new AS a rundown of these clubs and register students into these societies. There are a total of 15 Clubs & Societies at BCP, ranging from the Sci-Tech Club to the Philanthropy Club, that cover a range of interests of the student body and make life at BCP a truly enriching experience in terms of the extracurriculars.
