Sci Tech V, the most happening and anticipated event of 2022 took place at BCP Multan campus on 19 & 20 February 2022. True to its legacy the event made waves in the entire region by introducing delegates and sponsors to the marvels of scientific achievement and development changing the world as we know it. The aim of Sci Tech V was to provide a unique fun filled experience to all participants while keeping focus on practical learning and skill development.
Sci Tech V was a powerful combination of science, management skill development and business studies all rolled into a fun filled festival full of excitement and learning opportunities. The Sci Tech V team created a powerful atmosphere of learning paired with fun filled activities.
Dragon’s Den allowed delegates to try their hand at developing a successful business idea and a workable model. During this event the delegates had to convince the audience and the judges of the viability of their business idea and their practical approach to its development. A seminar educating delegates about Blockchain technology and crypto currency trading also took place. The delegates were informed about how the technology functioned, its advantages and its draw backs. The delegates were also educated about smart financial decision making and investing in crypto currencies. The event culminated in a simulated trading game which let the delegates hones the skills they had learned.
The robotics competition allowed delegates to become familiar with electronics, the functioning of Arduino processors and basic electronic assembly. The Sci Tech V management team also imparted essential knowledge about basic safety, good lab and assembly line practices to the delegates. The delegates managed to assemble multiple functioning wheeled robots by the end of the event.
Sci Tech V wasn’t all science and business though; live performances by celebrities also galvanized the delegates and the management team. BCP Multan was rocked and shocked to its core by the amazing DJ duo Something Super. The crowd went wild with joy on the arpeggiated and ecstatic beats of the DJ. The smoke dispensers and the laser light show created an atmosphere that would even make people attending concerts at Madison Square Garden NY would be jealous.
The DJ was quickly followed by a first, Danial Zafar aka Danny Zee joined by his band mates Aliboi aka Alistair & Madlock Gilani stepped on stage to wild cheers by the crowd. The band brought classic rock, hip hop and electronica to the show. The trio was also joined by an amazing choreography team and a world class saxophonist who spread some classy jazz vibes. The group bowed out after a fun filled extravaganza of rock, hip hop jazz filled evening. But the night was still young and the one and only, the boy sensation, Hassan Raheem jogged onto the stage. Smooth chill hop beats, crazy fast lyrics led to the closing of the night’s festivities.
The Oscars Night topped off the event with an extravagant gala of fashion and culture with a black Limousine and red carpet adding swank and ceremony to the occasion. After the awards ceremony and an address by Madam Saadia Yaqub all the guests proceeded to a classy buffet dinner.
