Beaconhouse Valencia Campus held its First Parent Teacher Meeting for the Academic Year 2021-22 on November 12, 2021.
This is an extremely important time as parents are able to meet with their child’s teachers in a one-to-one setting often for the first time in the academic session. Furthermore, the parents’ interest communicates to the children the fact that their parents are concerned about their progress in school.
The parents had the opportunity to meet with all subject teachers and learn how their children are getting on in school, where their strengths and weaknesses lie, and how they socialize with other children in the classroom and playground, and during extracurricular activities.
The meeting also presented an opportunity for teachers to learn to gain valuable insights about the children from their parents.
Most teachers and parents concluded that it is paramount to be positive, remember that they are all working for the children’s betterment, and co-ordinate their efforts to work towards the children’s better academic performance in the first term.
In conjunction with the Parent-Teacher Conference, an Art & Project Exhibition had been organized. These displays brought colour and life to the occasion and consisted of students’ innovative and vibrant artwork and project work.
The efforts of the teachers and students were immensely appreciated!
