I do and I understand \u201c.Confucius<\/p>\n<p>Learning through experiments promotes scientific thinking in students. Students are made to think and discover the facts through experimenting. Discovering new ideas is an integral part of learning science. Pupils of Class 1 performed a series of experiments to understand the concept of Forces and Energy. They learnt that forces can change the shape of an object and forces can change the movement of an object.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Blowing Bubbles Activity<\/strong><\/h4>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Blowing and watching bubbles are great fun for children and may not seem like anything more, but actually this entertaining activity has many important roles in cognitive, language, and physical development for students. Students observed how the pressure of the air, that they blow, changes the shape and size of the bubbles. They recorded their findings in their copies.<\/p>\n<h4><em>Science Experiment (Make a Gas)<\/em><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"crnd0\" data-offset-key=\"ddcle-0-0\">\n<h4 class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"ddcle-0-0\"><em>\u201cYou don\u2019t learn to walk by following rules, you learn by doing and by falling over.\u201d Richrad Branson<\/em><\/h4>\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"ddcle-0-0\"><span style=\"background-color: var(--global--color-background);color: var(--global--color-primary);font-family: var(--global--font-secondary);font-size: var(--global--font-size-base)\">Hands-on activities let the students&#8217; minds grow and learning based on these experiences and the environment they are exposed to, forever embed in their minds. Students of Class 2 performed an experiment of \u2018Making Gas\u2019 by adding a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda (in a glass beaker) half filled with vinegar and a rubber glove stretched over it. They observed that a chemical reaction happens when vinegar reacts with the baking soda to form carbon dioxide. The bubbles come from the escaping carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide has nowhere to go except up into the glove causing it to inflate.
