News of Inter Class English Declamation Contest
‘‘It’s not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves’’ William Shakespeare
The purpose of declamation is to inculcate in our students the skill of public speaking and the ability to address the audience with confidence and enthusiasm. Annual English Declamation Contest was organized by Beaconhouse Walton Campus for students of Grade 2.
The young and dynamic orators were given the time limit of 2 to 3 mins to articulate their thoughts. They were judged on their clarity of speech, content, expressions, fluency and body language. They were applauded with certificates of participation. Following students secured the positions:
Consolation Prize: Zara Waqas of II Gold and Daud Abid Khan of II Yellow
3rd Position: Rana Ali of II Violet
2nd Position: Hareem Umer of II White and Khadija Saqib of II Blue
1st Position: Anooshey Khalid of II Green.
Congratulations!!! We are proud of you! The event ended with a soul stirring performance by Choir.
